The Hilliard Education Foundation is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization providing grants and scholarships that promotes excellence in the Hilliard City Schools, one of the fastest growing school districts in Ohio. Established in 1989, the Hilliard Education Foundation is led by a working Board of Trustees composed of parents, district residents, and community leaders. Grants Since traditional public school funding sources do not always allow teachers to initiate new and creative learning experiences, the foundation helps our schools provide the "extras" that can make a difference. All Hilliard School District teachers and staff are eligible to apply for an HEF grant. Grants are awarded on a competitive basis each spring for the following school year. Non-competitive grants are also available based on a donor’s specified criteria. Scholarships The foundation manages and awards college scholarships to graduates from both Hilliard Davidson and Hilliard Darby High Schools. The scholarships are awarded each spring to selected applicants in accordance with the donor's intentions. |
