Events are our primary source of fundraising and have become an established part of the Hilliard community and social scene.  We currently host two major annual events - the Evening for Excellence and Casino Night.

Casino Night

In 2006, the foundation decided to try something new, and what a great decision it turned out to be. Our annual Casino Night continues to grow in size annually, where today it is attended by more than 350 people. It has been referred to as: "The Party to be at for HEF."                                   Learn more about Casino Night

Hilliard Hullabaloo

The 2011 Hilliard Hullabaloo, an annual fundraising event sponsored by the Hilliard Education Foundation (HEF), will not be held in August as originally anticipated. The event had tentatively been slated to take place on August 27th in the Edwards Building at the Franklin County Fairgrounds.

This fall, HEF is taking time to examine and strengthen our impact for students across the district. We're embarking on a strategic planning process that will result in a more robust fundraising plan to support educational priorities and innovation within the Hilliard City School District. HEF has a 22-year history of serving students and staff of the district, and we will be building on that success.

The grant program for teachers will continue. The next deadline will take place on October 1, 2011. Please consider applying for funding to support innovative ideas in your building.

And, our annual Casino Night will be held at the Makoy Center on March 10, 2012. Mark your calendar!

We anticipate Hullabaloo returning in the future as an event to engage and thank the community for it's ongoing support of education in our community.
